After a short stint learning the criminal traffic defense trade as an associate attorney for a prominent Miami firm, Robert Skubiak started Robert Skubiak, P.A. in September 1993.
Success quickly followed as the firm grew and in 1999 Alain Rivas joined the firm as an associate attorney. The momentum continued as Skubiak & Rivas, P.A. was formed in 2001. Robert Skubiak combines to further the firm’s reputation, as the community, local judges and attorneys have become familiar with Robert Skubiak and Alain Rivas daily courtroom appearances.

Personally, Robert Skubiak is an avid tennis player, and has professionally acted in television and on stage. Born and raised in Chicago, IL and Holmdel, NJ. Robert Skubiak has called Florida home since in 1990.
Alain Rivas earned his Juris Doctorate from the Stetson College of Law. Before attending law school, he obtained a B.A. with a dual major in Political Science and History from Rollins College. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Rivas joined Central Florida’s traffic defense law firm in 1999 to help represent the community’s large Hispanic population.
